Privacy policy
Glic Recruitment handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
For candidates: name, contact details, employment history, qualifications, security clearance status, right to work and citizenship information, referee details and any information contained in the CV you provide. For employer contacts: name, business contact details, company and details of the role you are hiring for.

How we collect it
Directly from you through this website, by phone, by email or in an interview. We may also collect information from public professional profiles, from referees you nominate, and from background and clearance checks you have consented to.

Why we collect it
To assess suitability for roles, to present candidates to employers, to manage placements and contract engagements, to meet legal and panel obligations, and to contact you about relevant roles or hiring needs.

Who we disclose it to
Candidate information is disclosed to prospective employers only with your consent, and to referees, background check providers and payroll providers where relevant to an engagement. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies run by default so the site works. WhatConverts lead source tracking is always on and tracks how you found us when you call or send a form enquiry. Google Tag Manager loads on every page for every visitor using advanced consent mode. All four Google consent settings default to denied before it loads and remain denied unless you choose Accept analytics. Google tags may send cookieless measurement signals while consent is denied; analytics and advertising cookies require your consent. With consent, Google tags can measure page visits, referral information, browser and device information and cookie identifiers for site usage and advertising measurement and optimisation. Any LinkedIn or Meta advertising tags enabled through the container must also honour your choice. We store your decision, the time, a random visitor reference and the notice and choices shown in your browser, retaining earlier acceptance when you later withdraw it. When the notice changes, we ask you to choose again. Choose Essential only to refuse or withdraw consent using Cookie settings below. Changes apply immediately on this site and in other open tabs. Form privacy consent is separate from this optional analytics and advertising choice.

Storage and security
Personal information is held in access controlled recruitment and cloud systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we retain it only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove you from our database. Contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
